      Lethargy is a common symptom with multiple underlying causes, ranging from lifestyle factors to medical conditions. Inadequate sleep, poor nutrition, dehydration, and lack of physical activity frequently contribute to low energy levels. Psychological factors such as chronic stress, anxiety, and depression are also significant causes. Medical conditions including anemia, hypothyroidism, diabetes, infections, and hormonal imbalances can lead to persistent lethargy. Certain medications may produce fatigue as a side effect. In some cases, parasitic infections affecting nutrient absorption may be involved and are treated with agents such as mebendazole 100mg under appropriate medical guidance.
