Honestly I’m trying to figure out if I’m being paranoid or if there’s actual truth to what people keep telling me. My Audi Q7 wouldn’t start last Tuesday and I called a regular roadside battery guy who came and swapped it in about fifteen minutes. The car started fine and I drove home thinking everything was sorted. But then the next morning I noticed the windows wouldn’t go up automatically anymore and the memory seats forgot their positions. Then the start stop system gave me an error message and the air conditioning felt weaker than usual. I mentioned this to a friend who drives a BMW and he laughed at me saying I made a huge mistake not going for luxury car battery replacement Dubai because apparently these European vehicles have sensitive electrical systems that need proper coding after a new battery is installed. He said something about the car needing to know the battery’s age and capacity so the alternator charges it correctly. Now I’m worried I might have damaged something permanently or at least shortened the life of this new battery. Is this actually a real thing or do luxury car owners just get scared into paying more money for the same service? I can understand that a法拉利 or a Rolls Royce might need special treatment but my Q7 isn’t that exotic. Has anyone here replaced their Audi or Mercedes battery at a normal garage without any issues or did you end up regretting it later? I really don’t want to pay dealership prices for something as simple as a battery but I also don’t want my car’s electronics to slowly go crazy over the next few months. Would love to hear some real experiences from people who’ve been through this already because right now I’m stuck in the middle not knowing which way to go.
