Who are really the best book publishers for new authors starting out?

Hi everyone, I have recently finished my first draft and now I am searching for the best book publishers for new authors. There are so many names out there, but it’s hard to know which ones actually support beginners instead of overlooking them. Should I aim for traditional publishers, smaller independent presses, or maybe even hybrid models? I’d love to hear serious and honest suggestions from those who have been through this process before.
